A guesthouse run by a bookstore in Kinosaki Onsen—enjoy Onsen and books.

Thank you for visiting the page of BookStore iChi! Kinosaki Onsen is a traditional Onsen town where you can enjoy visiting six public baths while wearing a yukata. As the name suggests, our store operates as a bookstore, but with the desire to "create a place where people can gather," we have designed the first floor as a bookstore and café bar, and the second floor as a guesthouse. We welcome guests not only from The whole country but also from all over the world. You can enjoy soaking in the Onsen and spending a relaxing time reading a book in your Room, or casually interacting with locals and travelers from around the globe. Kinosaki Onsen can be enjoyed in a style that suits you best. Our store may not have the luxurious Facility of a Ryokan, nor may we be able to provide sufficient hospitality. However, we can help make your journey fulfilling by being a place for various encounters. Please make use of our store and enjoy a wonderful time.

    Check-in is at 15:00. Please review the House Rules before your arrival.
    The bookstore & cafe bar on the 1st floor is open until 25:00, so background music and conversations may be audible.

    No shoes indoors. There is no shoe rack, so please keep your footwear in your Room.

    Please refrain from bringing in large amounts of alcohol.
    The cafe & bar on the 1st floor is open until 25:00, so we would appreciate it if you could use that instead.
