In December 2023, all guest Rooms will be renovated! Choose from seven types of Rooms, including "ocean-side with stunning views" and "mountain-side with the charm of Onsen steam from the hot spring source." Additionally, in the ocean-side Japanese-Western style Rooms, in-Room dining is available. The cuisine features a creative kaiseki course crafted by the head chef, focusing on seasonal ingredients and premium Oita Wagyu beef. The Onsen offers a unique silky texture with its natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source. Guests can enjoy a relaxing experience in the highly-rated large public bath with an open-air bath and two types of private baths, which are available free of charge. Experience the exceptional cuisine, Onsen, hospitality, and views that can only be found at Nagomi no Yado Shiori.
The Room was bright with a great view, spacious and clean—an extraordinary, non-everyday space that truly made us feel we were on a trip. It was an east-facing Room where we could even see the sunrise.The bath was also very relaxing!The meals were excellent as well, especially the sashimi. We stayed three nights at Hotels of a similar or higher level, but this Accommodation gave us the highest overall satisfaction. The coffee served at breakfast was also a much-appreciated service.When we visit Beppu again, we would definitely like to stay here.To maintain good service, it felt like efforts are being made to reduce costs in areas such as amenities. That is completely understandable given the current circumstances, however,not having towels or cups prepared for children was inconvenient, so we would like to see this improved.

The meals were delicious!The seasoning wasn’t heavy, yet the flavors of the ingredients really came through—I was impressed.Breakfast wasn’t a buffet; it was a wonderful, relaxing meal.The Onsen left my skin silky smooth—truly the kind of hot spring you’d expect in Beppu.If I had to mention one drawback, the pillow was quite high, and I would have preferred a lower one.Still, it’s a truly wonderful Accommodation and highly recommended.Thank you very much.
