Notice of Onsen Facility Reopening
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Kosugi Resort.
Aso Otohime Onsen “Yura Yura,” located on our grounds and closed since December 2024, will reopen after renovation on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Although the Onsen once stopped due to the effects of the Kumamoto earthquakes, we carried out new drilling and were able to reach the same source spring as before. Thank you for your patience over the past approximately 1 year and 10 months.

All 22 Rooms are private Onsen suites available exclusively for your group. Enjoy Aso’s hot springs in complete privacy with family, as a couple, or with friends. Rooms with open-air baths and special suites are also available.
Hours: 10:00–24:00 (last admission at 23:00)

- Guests using special suites “Tsuru,” “Kame,” or “Gin” will receive an original tenugui hand towel as a gift
- From October 1 to 30, a food truck will be stationed in front of the facility—enjoy freshly baked treats such as our signature pretzels along with drinks for a relaxing post-bath moment
