For those who enjoy traveling, you can take a local train to JR Zao Station and enjoy a leisurely 20-minute walk, or take a bus from Yamagata Station or Kaminoyama Onsen Station to the "Kurosawa Onsen Bus Stop," followed by a 5-minute walk, making for a delightful journey as you explore an unfamiliar town. The Zao Onsen Ski Resort, famous for its frost-covered trees and powder snow, is about a 20-minute drive away. If you use the expressways, you can also easily access other ski resorts with abundant snow, such as Yudonosan Ski Resort and Tengendai Ski Resort.
