The stone-paved streets of Izumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, have stood for over 400 years as a defensive stronghold built by Satsuma warriors. Our accommodation is a dispersed-style hotel consisting of three buildings—Miyaji Residence, Tsuchimochi Residence, and Kato Residence—with six rooms located throughout the largest samurai residence complex in the Satsuma domain, "Izumi-Fumoto." Enjoy moments immersed in the history and traditions passed down in Kagoshima's Izumi-Fumoto. ―About Traditional Houses― ・While air conditioning and heating are provided, these houses are less airtight and insulated compared to modern buildings. ・You may hear sounds from neighboring rooms or encounter insects (insecticides and repellents are available). ・Marks and wear accumulated over time remain as part of their layered history. ―No TV or Clock Provided― To allow you to enjoy a leisurely flow of time, we intentionally do not provide TVs or clocks in the rooms. *Regardless of your reserved room location, please check-in at "Miyaji Residence" (18-35 Fumoto-cho, Izumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture).
