About a 13-minute walk to Teine Station. A relaxing capsule Hotel conveniently located for sightseeing in Sapporo and Otaru.

Located between Sapporo and Otaru, at the foot of Mt. Teine, which served as the alpine venue for the Sapporo Winter Olympics, this is a "suburban," "guesthouse-style," "capsule-style Hotel." With an exterior that exudes the charm of a standalone house, it is very compact but boasts a reputation for its hospitable staff and meticulous cleaning. The rates are so affordable that guests often ask, "Is this really okay?" yet many repeat customers find it surprisingly comfortable. Free parking, free Shuttle Service, and a complimentary light breakfast are particularly well-received. The surrounding area is also well-equipped with popular restaurants and convenience stores.

  • I stayed one night on Friday to attend games at ES CON Field on Friday and Saturday. Since it takes nearly three hours each way from home, watching a night game followed by a day game without staying over would be too exhausting, so I looked for a reasonably priced Accommodation and found this place. It’s about an hour’s drive from ES CON Field, and the free parking was a big plus. I arrived around 10:30 p.m., and when I checked in at the reception desk in the corner of the shared space just inside the entrance, one guest was eating there. Someone else arrived even later than I did. Check-in is listed as available until 11:00 p.m., but they seem willing to accommodate you flexibly if you contact them. In the sleeping area, there was a slightly firm honeycomb-style (?) mattress with a cover, plus a pillow and duvet—very much like “just sleeping on a mattress.” The second floor is divided into separate male/female sleeping areas, while the first floor has the shared space and separate male/female washrooms with shower rooms. Going down to the first floor to brush my teeth and wash up before bed and after waking up felt a bit inconvenient, but it also gave me the impression that the second floor is treated as an area where guests should keep noise to an absolute minimum. My sleeping pod (capsule?) was on an upper level, and when I got up for the toilet at dawn I missed the bottom rung of the ladder and made quite a loud noise—I panicked for a moment. Meals and socializing take place in the shared space, but since I was traveling alone and it was a quiet period with few guests, I didn’t interact with anyone else. The shared space has a sink, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, etc. Breakfast is truly light: you take bread from the freezer yourself, toast it yourself, and eat it with free jam or similar spreads. You wash any dishes you use yourself as well. I’ve never stayed at one before, but this felt like what a youth hostel might be like. My meal rating is three stars—not because it’s bad; just because it’s simple. Buying salad or other items at a supermarket or convenience store and keeping them in the fridge is also an option. While thinking that three sinks plus two shower rooms might not be enough during peak season, I planned my next ES CON Field trip—and made another Reservation for next time as well. Next time I’ll bring canned tuna and sliced cheese for breakfast toast."""

  • I stayed for two weeks for work, leaving the weekends free.In the first week I stayed in an Economy room, but as the weekend approached it started to feel a bit cramped and confining, so in the second week I stayed in a Deluxe room. With the higher ceiling, it was very comfortable. If I have the chance to visit again, I would like to stay here again.
