  • The Taste of Travel

    A small Accommodation—very affordable. It was the only Reservation I made before setting off on a long trip. The Room was clean and more than sufficient for a solo traveler, and the Onsen was wonderful. I finally made it to Ibusuki, and the next day I was also able to reach the summit of Mt. Kaimon, which I’d been hoping to do for a long time. I’ll stay again.

  • As the name suggests

    Stayed for one night during a road trip from Shizuoka to Kyushu. A small, Showa-retro style accommodation as the name suggests. It feels more like a guesthouse than a ryokan. The meals are not served on fancy plates, but they were delicious. The service may not be overly attentive, but it felt like visiting relatives in the countryside where you can just ask if you have any questions and relax at your own pace. I even felt like helping out with something—it’s that kind of warm atmosphere that I personally enjoy. The private bath allows you to adjust the temperature yourself, so I could enjoy it at my preferred warmth level comfortably.
