This was my first visit to Shiga Kogen. Since it was a weekday before Golden Week, there seemed to be only about five groups staying, so I was able to enjoy the large public bath all by myself and relax. I had high expectations for the meals because the Hotel promotes its “live kitchen,” but perhaps because there were so few guests that day, it didn’t feel very lively, and the menu was mostly standard items, which was a bit disappointing. That said, everything tasted great, and I ate until I was completely full. The front desk staff told me about the view from Panorama Parking, and since the weather was nice on the morning of day two, I walked there. The mountain range—including the Northern Alps—was a breathtaking sight I had never seen before. This is a Hotel and area I would definitely like to visit again.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 5/13/2026There was no raw seafood in the meals, but the variety of dishes was fairly satisfying.Overall, I was able to relax and take my time.Many areas were closed off due to restrictions, which made getting around difficult. Still, it was a Hotel that made me want to come back. Thank you for your hospitality.
