The mineral spring bath is a source of beauty and wellness Enjoy rustic wild boar cuisine and the flavors of the countryside

The bathwater is sourced from a mineral spring historically used as medicine. From the open-air bath, enjoy the changing seasonal scenery and the gentle sound of the river. Both from your Room and the bath, you can take in the lush, idyllic countryside views. Meals feature rustic flavors of the countryside, with wild boar dishes as a highlight.

  • One night, two days, for one person.I was picked up from Yokoze Station by the Shuttle Service on a rainy evening. With a typhoon forecast (it turned out to be just normal rain), the Accommodation was quiet. I headed straight to the bath, and from the open-air bath the trees felt close; the gentle sound of rain was beautiful. It was a wonderful soak surrounded by nature. At dinner, I enjoyed warm sake along with beautifully prepared appetizers and warm river fish dishes. The carrot tofu and sobagaki tempura were unlike anything I’d had before—truly delicious. The vegetable tempura and wild boar were also outstanding.I was completely full after the mountain-vegetable mixed rice and handmade udon, and then dessert left me even more satisfied.Even so, I ordered late-night snacks in my Room—miso potatoes, grilled rice balls, and fruit liqueur.Strangely enough, despite being so full, I woke up hungry in the morning. Another rainy open-air bath before breakfast made it an amazing one-night stay.Thank you very much.If possible, it would be even better if non-smoking Rooms were available for solo guests as well—I wouldn’t mind paying an additional fee.Everyone at the Accommodation was very kind; thank you for such a wonderful time.

  • I accidentally made a Reservation for a smoking Room, but they kindly changed it to a non-smoking Room afterward. They also asked about our meal preferences, and I already felt from the emails beforehand that this was a wonderful Accommodation—but after actually staying there, I felt it was even better. The service was courteous, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent in taste and portion size. I was also happy that they could provide a late-night snack for 350 yen per person. I like sake, so it was great that they offered a tasting set. As for the Onsen, I couldn’t really notice the herbal-bath scent, but the temperature was perfect and I could soak slowly and comfortably. My legs were tired from hiking down the mountain, so it was very soothing. Surrounded by mountains and rich nature, it was very quiet and relaxing; hearing birdsong echoing around us felt wonderful. We also appreciated that the futons had been laid out in advance. It helped me forget my daily busyness and truly unwind. This is an Accommodation I’d love to visit again—thank you very much.
