“Ao ai” is a private villa rental, an 8-minute walk from Izukyu-Shimoda Station. It accommodates up to 10 guests and offers an exclusive, one-group-per-day private stay. With a spacious living room and rooftop, a high-performance projector setup, plus an outdoor jacuzzi and an authentic sauna room, the Facility is fully equipped for a luxurious getaway. With excellent access to nine beaches, it’s the perfect base to enjoy everything from sightseeing to outdoor activities.

A brand-new, full-scale sauna room has been added as a permanent feature at “Ao ai”! Enjoy a refreshing sweat in your private sauna room for up to 6 guests. Experience self löyly by pouring water over the sauna stones to create steam, and adjust the heat to your liking for the ultimate relaxation. After the sauna, cool down in your dedicated cold-water bath. Set your own pace and sink into deep relaxation. Löyly (the steam and heat created by pouring water over sauna stones) helps relax both mind and body—and once you try it, you’ll be hooked. Sauna bathing is also expected to offer a wide range of benefits such as improved circulation, boosted immunity, better metabolism, relief from sensitivity to cold, increased vitality, and overall fatigue recovery. It’s also great that everyone—from children to seniors—can enjoy it together as a family. Post-sauna conversations are especially memorable!

The LDK at “Aoi ai” is a spacious 66 m² (40 tatami mats)—about the size of a typical 3LDK apartment—so up to 10 guests can relax comfortably. A 65-inch Google TV is provided, allowing you to enjoy a wide range of videos and movies, as well as mirror your smartphone. With the 120-inch projector, you can watch the day’s videos together or enjoy movies and YouTube, making this villa just as fun indoors. For corporate workations, an interactive whiteboard enables full-group meetings. It also supports various needs such as web conferences on a large monitor.

One of Ao “ai”’s highlights is its expansive 70-tatami rooftop garden. Enjoy the sun, breeze, and views all to yourself for a truly unforgettable stay. From stargazing and BBQs to rooftop camping, you can fully enjoy a wide range of activities. The outdoor jacuzzi offers soothing relaxation with open views of the sky, mountains, and sea. At night, unwind in peaceful silence under a sky full of stars. Stay active by day and relax by night—this is a space you can enjoy from morning to evening. Lounge on the sofa set to melt away everyday fatigue, or soak up the sun on two summer beds—and when it gets hot, feel free to cool off with a refreshing rinse right there.

Ao ai offers an outdoor pool that guests of all ages can enjoy. Relax on the living room sofa with a beer in hand and watch the kids play in the pool—it's a special experience. The pool at Ao ai was installed so that elderly guests and guests with disabilities, who may not often have the chance to use a pool, can also enjoy it. Enjoy experiences you don’t usually get to have at Ao ai and spend a wonderful day here. A step platform is provided for easy entry into the water. Sitting on the step platform and soaking halfway is also wonderfully relaxing. Watching everyone having fun right in front of the living room is pure bliss.
