  • I was able to relax.

    I made a Reservation for the Obon holiday because I wanted to relax.It was also great that there were complimentary drinks and light snacks in the lounge after check-in.Unfortunately, since it was right after a typhoon passed through, the view from the window was of rough seas, but I think it would have felt wonderful on a clear day.The Room was spacious enough, and I was able to unwind comfortably.The drinks in the in-room refrigerator were free, and we were told we could take them with us if we didn’t drink them—such a nice touch.We reserved a private family bath, which was very spacious and easy to use, so we could soak and relax.I wasn’t expecting much from the meals, but everything except the crab was delicious—I ended up eating too much.Breakfast even included a DIY rice bowl station (nokkedon), which was also delicious—I ate too much again!At check-out, we received drinks and a parasol as souvenirs, which made me very happy.I would definitely like to visit again.

  • You could watch it forever.

    The location from the Room was perfect. The weather on the day of our stay was great, so I could have watched it all day.\nThe next morning it was cloudy from early on and I couldn’t see the sunrise, but I still thought how wonderful the sea is.\nMeals are buffet-style; I should have paced myself, but I ate too much (lol).

Onsen Name: Fujima Onsen Source Location: 60-2 Shibasaki, Fujima, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture Operating Hours: 5:30 AM–9:00 AM, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM Water Type: Sodium-Chloride Strong Saline Onsen Indications (for bathing): Neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, joint stiffness, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive disorders, hemorrhoids, cold sensitivity, recovery after illness, fatigue recovery and health promotion. Also effective for cuts, burns, chronic skin diseases, weak children and chronic gynecological conditions. *Contraindications (for bathing): Acute illnesses (especially with fever), active tuberculosis, malignant tumors, severe heart disease, respiratory failure, renal failure, bleeding disorders, severe anemia or other progressive diseases in general. Not recommended during pregnancy (especially early and late stages).
