Inspired by SDG Goal 12, “Responsible Consumption and Production,” we have carefully preserved the building’s original character—filled with family memories—and reimagined it as a relaxing dog-friendly Accommodation where today’s families can deepen their bonds. Enjoy the next chapter of this warm, nostalgic family story, lovingly created by an owner who is also a dog lover.
Straight ahead as you enter, a firepit terrace welcomes you—perfect for a break after a walk with your dog or for owners to relax and chat. As the day fades, soft indirect lighting creates an inviting, grown-up atmosphere. Enjoy a quiet moment with a drink in hand, watching the flickering flames together with your dog.
On the property, we offer two dog runs: a spacious ground-level artificial-turf dog run (approx. 990 m²) and a rooftop dog run on the second floor with great views. Each dog run features a complimentary self-serve drink corner and garden chairs, creating a relaxing space where owners can unwind, chat while watching their dogs, or enjoy a drink.
There are 10 Rooms in total, designed to embrace precious time with your family. The building retains its historic character, preserving the atmosphere of its past as a retreat beloved by many families. Choose from 8 Room types to suit your needs and preferences, including standard Japanese-style Rooms with a private terrace and relaxing bath, Rooms with a private garden that can also be used as a dog run, and Rooms featuring an open-air bath with jet tub.
Breakfast and dinner are served in private dining rooms at our on-site restaurant. The restaurant also features a wine cellar stocked with carefully selected labels to complement your meal. Enjoy a creative kaiseki course centered on seasonal local fish from Boso, paired with regional brand beef and other seasonal ingredients. For your dog’s comfort, we provide a dedicated pet cart so your pet can stay by your side at the table during meals.
Even in the hot summer, you and your dog can still have a great time.
We offer a dog pool and a night dog run where you can play after dinner once it cools down!
You can also enjoy a seaside walk at Iwai Beach, just steps from the Accommodation.
