Opening in July 2024: Yamagata's first original sauna, "Omusubi Sauna" / Experience the chirping of bush warblers in spring, the calls of kingfishers and Kajika frogs in summer, the vibrant autumn foliage, and snow-viewing baths in winter. We offer a space where you can relax and feel the warmth of nostalgia amidst the changing seasons. Enjoy the abundant hot spring water, renowned as the most plentiful in the Tohoku region, with our natural flowing onsen, as well as private open-air baths with the scent of cypress, popular among families and couples. Our cuisine, featuring Yamagata's premium brand beef "Mogami Beef," local seasonal ingredients like "Yume Madoka," and a variety of hearty dishes, has received high praise.
I was impressed by the staff’s thoughtful, unobtrusive hospitality. The meals featured plenty of wild mountain vegetables and local ingredients, and I was very satisfied with the careful preparation. They were wonderful dishes you can’t experience in the city. We also used the private bath, which I highly recommend. It was just the right size and temperature, and it was comforting that the changing area had tatami mats. This is a memorable Accommodation I would love to stay at again.

The open-air bath was a bit small (enough for 2-3 adults), but the view was great, with a river flowing right in front, making it very pleasant. The meals in the large dining hall were delicious and very satisfying. Some of the staff seemed to be foreign trainees and still a bit inexperienced, but there was nothing particularly dissatisfactory. I would like to use this place again if I have the chance.
