Gotanji Beach
The coastline just south of Tsutsuji-so features a sandy beach where you can enjoy swimming in the sea. However, please note that there are no rental shops for float rings or rental spaces for resting. Additionally, there are no ropes indicating swimming areas, nor are there lifeguards or rescue personnel. Please be extremely cautious and ensure your own safety while swimming. Within the premises of Tsutsuji-so, there are restrooms, changing rooms & showers (hot water is available for a fee), foot-washing stations, and beverage vending machines. Currently, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the number of people allowed to use the changing rooms and other facilities is limited. We appreciate your understanding. Please note that using fire, such as for BBQs, is strictly prohibited without permission, both on the beach and anywhere on the island. We kindly ask for your cooperation in following the rules and being considerate of others so that everyone can have an enjoyable time.
At the Tsutsujisou front desk, we sell fireworks from the "Tsutsui Tokimasa Toy Fireworks Factory." Enjoy traditional sparklers with a 300-year history and candy-like POP fireworks. Western Sparkler Set: 1,000 yen Special Handheld Fireworks Set: 1,800 yen ※ Set contents: <Each firework + lighter + bucket> ※ Fireworks sales hours are until 8:00 PM.
