Address
Oita Prefecture1761-5 Kawakami, Yufuin-cho, Yufu City
TEL:+81-977-85-3043

Approximately 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot from Yufuin Station.
Descend the steep slope next to "Tenso Shrine" located below "Youtousha" by Lake Kinrin.

*From Fukuoka direction:
Take Yufuin IC → Route 216 towards Beppu → After about 5 minutes, you will see [Cosmos] on the left → Turn right past [Lawson Kawakami Store] (*Note: This entrance can be very crowded, so it may be better to take the route via Youbell Hotel) → Turn left at the T-junction near [Rokuya] → Pass [Hanayori] on your left-hand side → At the end of the road, turn left and follow along until you see Lake Kinrin on your right-hand side → Immediately after passing [Youtousha], you will find [Tenso Shrine] downhill to your right; descend the steep slope for 200 meters.

*From Beppu direction:
Pass through Sagiridai Observatory and descend through mountain roads until you reach a large curve's end where you'll find a sign for Youbell Hotel; enter this road. At its end, turn right towards the hotel front entrance. Continue downhill until reaching a road with [Rikitake] directly ahead; turn right and proceed for 200 meters where you'll find [Tenso Shrine] below to your left. Avoid making an immediate sharp left as it is dangerous—proceed further ahead and make a U-turn before descending the steep slope.
