The West Coast area, with a coastline stretching about 1.9 km, is perfect for running or strolling! With many restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores nearby, it’s ideal for long-term stays! Located in the bustling Matsuyama district, within a 10-minute drive, you’ll find Kokusai Street, Onoyama Park, Cellular Stadium, Tomari Iyumachi, DFS, and plenty of entertainment spots!
I’ve stayed here about 100 nights since last year and have really liked it, but this was the first time I truly felt the downside of having no front desk. The air conditioner remote’s batteries were dead, and the batteries had an expiration date of 2024. At night, it wouldn’t turn on. When I swapped in the TV remote’s batteries, it worked. I told the housekeeping staff the next day; they didn’t seem to have spare batteries, so they replaced the remote with one from another room.

Although it is an unmanned hotel, the pre-check-in process made entering the room easy, and check-out was smooth as well. The facility had plenty of power outlets, which was convenient, and there were no issues with the equipment. However, since we were two people, we wished there had been two chairs available. Additionally, we were surprised that towels after the first day were charged for a multiple night stay. As for nighttime noise from outside (such as loud voices from intoxicated individuals), we considered it unavoidable given the location.
