    I stayed here for a trip to Kamakura because it is close to the station.Unfortunately it rained, but they lent me an umbrella and kindly provided detailed sightseeing information. The Room wasn’t very large, but I was more than satisfied. There is also a large public bath, which helped me relax after a long day. Breakfast was delicious as well.

  • Obon Travel with My Son

    A trip with my familiar travel companion—my son (a third-year university student).This time, it was a 5-night, 6-day trip: 2 nights in Kamakura, 2 nights in Atami, and 1 night in Shimizu.In Kamakura, we stayed at this Hotel for two nights. The parking lot was a bit hard to find, but we got around on foot during the trip so it wasn’t an issue.The location was great—about a 5–10 minute walk to Kamakura Station, Komachi-dori Street, and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.The bath didn’t leave any particular impression, but there is a large public bath. Men enter with a key card; women use a PIN code.There is also a washing machine, which was very helpful since we were sweating in the summer and could do laundry.Outside the bath area, there’s a coffee machine available for free drinks, and you can make ice freely as well. Since it’s free, I had several cups.There are pillows available to choose from and take back to your Room.The Room is small, but since we only needed it for sleeping, it didn’t bother us much.It was a good Hotel.
