Dining is offered at two venues. “Noboribetsu Onsen Steamed Cuisine Sakurabusa” features set menus that bring out the natural flavor and nutrients of each ingredient, along with a half-buffet of seasonal cold and hot dishes, sweets, and fruit. We also offer a “Buffet” with an extensive selection of live cooking stations. We also provide a full range of relaxation Facility, including private baths, stone sauna (ganbanyoku), and spa treatments.
As last year, I stayed at Sekisuitei with a friend. My friend, who lives outside Hokkaido, stayed here last year and it seems to have become a favorite Hotel.They especially liked that the dinner buffet includes Jingisukan, and that while the Onsen isn’t particularly large, it has an open-air bath and several different baths. (Each one is set to a different temperature.)At the Hotel, we enjoyed soaking in the Onsen many times. From our Room, we could hear the sound of a nearby river (or maybe a small stream), which was very relaxing.We used the Shuttle Service bus, and thanks to the driver’s polite service and careful driving, we felt safe throughout.If possible, I would like the Sapporo departure time to be 1:00 PM. With a 2:00 PM departure, arrival at the Hotel is around 4:00 PM, and by the time you get into your Room and settle in, it’s already about 5:00 PM. It’s disappointing not being able to do any sightseeing around Noboribetsu town.

It’s a bit far from Noboribetsu Jigokudani, and the return trip is uphill, so going by car may be better.The Onsen water quality is excellent! The buffet felt like it had a limited selection.
