Marine Lodge, 15 minutes by car from Miyako Airport
The best thing is how quiet it is. The front desk is not staffed at all times, and you don’t need to leave your key when you go out, so you can stay here without any hassle. The single rooms are also larger and more comfortable than those in a Business Hotel. There is a coin laundry and a public bath, and parking is free. You can reach Yonaha Maehama Beach right away by walking through the property, making early-morning or sunset strolls wonderful.
This was my first stay on Miyakojima.We stayed in a Japanese-style room, and it was comfortable with a mattress provided.The bathroom was also clean.Since we went out for dinner both nights,we only noticed on the last day that there was a microwave and an electric kettle by the restaurant area.Still, it was great that Yonaha Maehama Beach was close enough to visit early in the morning.I’d like to stay here again when I visit Miyakojima.Thank you very much.
