At Sachi no Yu, located at an altitude of 1,600 meters in Shiga Kogen, you can enjoy unique experiences such as the famous "Starry Sky Tent Sauna," a professional "Ski Simulator," and a "Concierge Desk" offering local insights. For meals, we serve dishes made with local and seasonal ingredients, along with the full range of Shiga Kogen Beer! We also offer carefully selected local sake, wine, and soft drinks, which are highly enjoyed by our guests. Additionally, as a space connecting fascinating people and content related to Nagano (an adult retreat), we value creating opportunities for guests to interact with each other.     Enjoy Shiga Kogen in Autumn! Sunset & Sea of Clouds Challenge Tour

    In the evening, why not take Sachi-no-Yu’s shuttle bus to Yokoteyama Drive-In (2,000 m elevation) to watch the sunset?
    It’s one of the “100 Best Sunset Spots in Shinshu.”

    On clear days you can enjoy a beautiful sunset, and when conditions are right you may also see a sea of clouds spreading out below.
    If you’re especially lucky, you might even witness a “waterfall cloud,” where clouds spill over the mountain like a cascading waterfall.

    Autumn is the best season for seas of clouds—right now is peak time.
    That said, it all depends on the day’s weather—so it’s a true “challenge.”
