Leave your car at the Sawando (from Matsumoto) or Hirayu (from Gifu/Toyama) parking area on Route 158, then travel to Kamikochi by bus or taxi. From Kappa Bridge in Kamikochi, walk about 1 hour via the Myojin Nature Trail (parking and bus fares are not included).
