A Showa-retro getaway with free-flowing Onsen hot springs and seasonal kaiseki cuisine
Yumoto Tamai-kan is a charming retro-style Property with a traditional Japanese wooden structure, featuring three floors. The Onsen, sourced from 31 meters underground in the garden, is nearly colorless and transparent, offering therapeutic benefits for rheumatism, gynecological issues, neuralgia, gastrointestinal problems, and skin conditions. The pure Japanese-style Room includes an 8-tatami main area and a 4.5-tatami adjoining space with its own open-air Onsen bath fed directly from the source, allowing you to enjoy a private bathing experience. Meals feature a standard kaiseki course made with seasonal ingredients from Izumo and Matsue regions. Guests can savor fresh seafood and the seasonal blessings of San'in.

Introduction of the Accommodation

Tamatsukuri Onsen with a history of 1300 years
The inn "Tamai-kan" originates from "Hamaya," which was built in this area at the end of the Meiji era. In the early Showa era, "Hamaya" was renamed "Tamai-kan" and has since been cherished as a Property that conveys the onsen atmosphere of Tamatsukuri and the spirit of warm, family-like hospitality. The onsen that springs from 31 meters underground in our garden is almost colorless and transparent, with a spring temperature of 55 degrees Celsius. It contains radium, iron, salt, and sulfur, and is effective for rheumatism, gynecological disorders, neuralgia, gastrointestinal diseases, and skin conditions. Please enjoy a moment of warmth that has been nurtured over 1,300 years.

Enjoy the seasonal ingredients of Izumo and Matsue.
A dinner lavishly prepared with carefully selected fresh seafood and seasonal delights from the San'in region.
