It was our first time in Shimoda on a family trip, and everyone agreed the Hotel was beyond reproach—we liked it so much that we returned earlier than we usually do when traveling. We were also traveling with my grandmother, who has difficulty walking, but they provided a bath chair and were considerate about seating during meals, so we were able to stay comfortably without any inconvenience. Many of the staff were from overseas, but everyone greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service, making our stay truly satisfying.

Although the building is old, the Hotel was clean and comfortable, and I had a pleasant stay. The meals were delicious, but the spiny lobster I ordered separately was served near the end, so I would have appreciated it being brought out a bit earlier. The staff provided friendly service, and it’s a Hotel I’d like to visit again.

A large public bath with a panoramic view of Shimoda Bay. Both the men's and women's baths feature indoor and open-air baths. The open-air bath is situated in a location that appears to connect seamlessly with the sea. All baths are simple Onsen, gentle on the skin. Soaking for an extended period warms the body from within.
There is a kids' room for young children. The floor features a jigsaw puzzle-patterned carpet that is visually fun and made of highly cushioned material. Toys available in the room can be used freely, free of charge.
