Although I love Onsen, this was my first time experiencing Amagi no Yu, and I wished I had come sooner. The wonderfully silky, rich water was excellent—on par with my favorite Yamaga Onsen. Breakfast was buffet-style and the selection was good. It’s close enough for a day trip, so I’d like to come again.
The breakfast was so substantial that I was surprised it was free. The bath was also great, with authentic Onsen-quality water. Unfortunately, the spa was closed on the day of my stay, so I’d like to try again next time.Dinner came with tickets, there was a 10% discount and happy hour, and I enjoyed being able to choose what I wanted to eat.
