Hotel Grand Hill Ichigaya

I stayed here to attend a two-day live show at Tokyo Dome. It’s close to the nearest station, and because the price was reasonable I expected something like a Business Hotel, but it was actually a very impressive Hotel—so much so that it even has a wedding venue. While it does feel a bit older, everything was kept clean, and the staff were extremely kind and courteous, making it a very comfortable stay. Check-in was at 2:00 PM, so I could rest in my Room before heading to the concert, which was great. It’s also only two stops from Suidobashi Station, which was really convenient. I stayed in a twin Room with my daughter, and the bathroom had a separate washing area, so we could relax in the tub after the show. Having the toilet and bath separated was also much appreciated. There are many restaurants and drugstores around the Hotel as well, which came in handy. I’d definitely like to stay here again if I have another chance!!

This was my second stay. I stayed here for the first time on my previous visit and was very satisfied with the unexpectedly high quality. I thought it would be a typical business Hotel, but it is a large Hotel with a wedding venue as well. The Room in the East Wing was also great, especially because the toilet and bathroom were separate. I would like to stay again. However, the stone garden outside the 1st-floor restaurant feels a bit sterile and doesn’t leave a good impression. I think planting some trees might improve it.
