Kumamoto Prefecture／Hikawa Town, Yatsushiro DistrictI’ve come to look forward to making the 2.5-hour trip to stay here every time. It’s truly relaxing each visit. The front desk staff are kind, the cleaning is thorough, and I really enjoy the dinner buffet with draft beer included, as well as the breakfast buffet. This time I stopped by Roadside Station Ueki and the suspension bridge at Tatekamikyo Gorge in Hikawa Town. Dropping by places I don’t know always feels exciting.Today is 7/8 in midsummer. With the extreme heat of 37°C, we had the air conditioning running full blast. I also took three baths in total and washed off all the sweat properly. The guests next door were quiet too, so I was comfortable throughout my stay. I’ll be back again.
