Mimata Onsen was discovered in the late Edo period, in the first year of Genji (1864), and has been a quiet hot spring retreat along the Mimata River for about 150 years. True to its name, it is highly effective for skin beautification, rich in metasilicic acid, which is beneficial for skin keratinization and hydration.
