Located in the city center, this property offers free parking. It features a natural onsen with sulfate-rich waters, believed to be effective for neuralgia and fatigue recovery.     This was my first stay, and the rates were affordable. There was a large public bath, and the Room was spacious, so I could relax and unwind.I signed up for membership right away.I will definitely stay again.

  • Spacious and clean

    I stayed one night with No Meals Included for a memorial service. Honestly, I couldn’t afford an expensive Hotel for the occasion, so I searched starting from the lowest prices—and it was a great find. The Room was spacious and the bed was larger than expected. Best of all, instead of a unit bath, the toilet area was roomy! It’s often cramped around the toilet and sink, but this one had plenty of space. The bath can be used by the general public earlier in the day, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I went later and was able to relax. The bathing area is also spacious, and I’m truly satisfied. It’s a bit away from downtown, so it may be inconvenient without a car, but if possible I’d like to stay here again next time.

The natural Onsen utilizing a source 1500 meters underground contains sulfate and chloride springs, offering various benefits such as relief from neuralgia, chronic digestive disorders, fatigue recovery, arteriosclerosis, and sensitivity to cold.

Rooms with attention to detail and comfort.

The guest rooms are designed to provide a calming atmosphere, allowing guests to relax in a comfortable space. All rooms on the 5th floor have been partially renovated (carpets, curtains, wallpaper, etc.). Additionally, as a measure against COVID-19, air purifiers have been installed in all rooms.

    Lunch service at the 1F in-house restaurant “Shunsai Shukou Hiro” will be temporarily suspended for a while due to operational reasons.
    We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.




    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Fukui Academia Hotel.
    Until now, we have designated the last Monday of each month as a maintenance day, carrying out cleaning and inspections and then reopening the entire building from 15:00. However, due to aging of the Facility and increasing difficulty in maintaining equipment, starting in July 2024 we will change the last Monday of each month to a Facility closed day.
    On Facility closed days, the sports gym and heated pool will be closed all day, and the large public bath will be available from 17:00 only to overnight guests and school dormitory residents.
    (The large public bath will be closed from 9:00 to 17:00.)

    *Facility closed days are scheduled for the last Monday of each month; however, dates may change. Please check our official website for updates.

    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.




    The guestroom air-conditioning system at this Hotel is not individually controlled; cooling/heating is switched collectively for all guestrooms.
    In addition, switching between cooling and heating requires construction work, so we are unable to accommodate sudden changes.
    This year, we plan to switch to heating on October 21. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
