Enjoy the sunset and Suruga Bay while savoring fresh ingredients from West Izu.

This property is particularly recommended for its stunning sunsets, offering panoramic views of Suruga Bay from the open-air baths and large communal baths. Meals focus on ingredients from West Izu, allowing you to enjoy Ise lobster, turban shells, and abalone. Every morning, staff procure fresh ingredients from the fishing port. The sea-facing Japanese-style room is approximately 10 tatami mats in size and includes a toilet. You can use the large communal bath for bathing. The restaurant "SUNSET" on the second floor faces the sea, providing a panoramic view of Suruga Bay.

  • We stayed here for two consecutive years for snorkeling in Nishi-Izu. During the summer vacation period, we really appreciated the festival-style activities and fireworks, as well as toy rentals and the kind way the staff spoke to our child. There was also a baby bath at the Onsen, so we were able to go to the large public bath with our one-year-old. The only thing we noticed was that the air conditioning in the dining area was a bit too strong both at breakfast and dinner, and it felt cold. The Room was also kept very clean, and it’s an excellent Accommodation for the price—we’d love to visit again next year.

  • I used to think public Accommodations felt outdated, but this place was clean, the staff service was attentive, and it truly exceeded expectations for the price. Since we were traveling with children, we appreciated the thoughtfully planned kid-friendly events—they had a nice handmade feel. Because I have difficulty walking, I asked if we could park as close to the entrance as possible, and they kindly reserved a spot marked clearly with traffic cones, which was very helpful. The building is certainly showing its age, but it is well cleaned and seems to have been renovated. The Onsen has both hot and lukewarm baths, which is great for families with small children. You can see the ocean spread out right in front of you from the bath area, but unfortunately the window glass and the outdoor bath partitions were clouded white with mineral buildup, so the view wasn’t very clear. For our Room, we requested a Japanese-Western style setup with beds in a tatami Room. It seemed like beds had been added to what used to be a traditional Japanese-style Room; there were few power outlets in the Room, and not having an outlet by the pillow at night was inconvenient. These days everyone has a smartphone and needs to charge it—having no available outlet was difficult. At least an extension cord would have helped. The meals were delicious; everything from cold dishes to hot dishes was excellent, and especially the freshly fried horse mackerel fry—it was outstanding. We also liked that there was a drink bar included. The breakfast buffet was wonderful too—we ate more than usual and left very full. This is a truly wonderful Accommodation, and we would love to visit again as a family.
