My first trip to Himeji. Amazing value for money. I happened to have a Room on the same floor as the bath, which was great. You can hear some train noise, but the Room is spacious and the food is delicious. It’s right by the station, too. The view was also nice—a train view. The male staff member at the front desk was pleasant as well. I sometimes go to Kobe, but Hotel prices are high and availability is limited, so I even thought it might be worth coming by train to Himeji instead, doing some sightseeing, and staying overnight here.

For this price, having dinner and breakfast included plus a large public bath and sauna was very satisfying. It was clean, and I enjoyed a comfortable stay that felt true to a Universal Hotel. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance to visit Himeji.
