The Onsen water contains aluminum and calcium, offering therapeutic effects for neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, chronic digestive diseases, bruises, sprains, chronic skin diseases, arteriosclerosis, cuts, burns, post-illness recovery, fatigue recovery, cold sensitivity, hemorrhoids, and health promotion. The temperature of the Onsen is approximately 29°C and is heated.
Located approximately a one-hour drive from Asahikawa Airport, it serves as a base for Biei tourism, famous for the Blue Pond, and Furano lavender tourism.
