The smooth, alkaline simple spring is loved as a “beauty bath,” leaving your skin feeling moisturized even after you step out. In the open-air bath, 43°C source water flows directly into the tub, where you can enjoy a pleasantly lukewarm soak of around 30°C (closed in winter). For dining, we offer kaiseki cuisine featuring seasonal Yamanashi ingredients. About a 15-minute walk from JR Isawa-Onsen Station, we also provide a free Shuttle Service (Reservation required). Conveniently located as a base for exploring Yamanashi—fruit picking, winery tours, and more. Savor Isawa Onsen and the flavors of Koshu to your heart’s content.

Our open-air bath, which had been closed for Facility maintenance, has now reopened.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern caused during the closure.
At Hotel Heian, our open-air bath is supplied directly from a 43°C natural hot spring source; however, the water in the tub is kept at a comfortable lukewarm temperature of around 30°C.
This allows you to enjoy a long, relaxing soak even during the hot summer months, and is recommended for guests who would like to fully enjoy the Onsen while staying cool.
Both the indoor bath (large public bath) and the open-air bath are currently available as usual.
Please enjoy an authentic Isawa Onsen bathing experience in our spacious open-air bath.

Enjoy our spacious large public bath, ideal for groups, and experience the silky-smooth, skin-beautifying waters of our Onsen. Our gentle alkaline simple spring (pH 8.5–9.5) leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized even after bathing, and is especially popular with female guests. □ Women-only open-air bath “Princess Bath” The “Princess Bath” is an open-air bath featuring striking stonework. This natural Onsen gently envelops your entire body, leaving your skin beautifully hydrated after bathing. Relax to your heart’s content in this refreshing open setting. ■ Men-only open-air bath “Lord’s Bath” Surrounded by lush greenery and massive rocks, the atmospheric “Lord’s Bath” offers a truly scenic outdoor soak. Unwind in the Onsen while gazing up at the sky above—enjoy crisp morning air or a soothing ambiance at dusk for a deeply relaxing experience.







We offer kaiseki cuisine featuring seasonal ingredients and local produce from Yamanashi. Please enjoy dishes unique to the Koshu Isawa Onsen area. An all-you-can-drink option is also available. *As we use seasonal ingredients, the menu may change depending on the season and your accommodation plan.*





The Shuttle Service pick-up point is **JR Isawa-Onsen Station**, where you can also enjoy a footbath. Easy access from the station. Pick-up is available from **3:00 PM to 5:00 PM**. Please feel free to contact us.







In addition to strolling around the Isawa Onsen area, you can enjoy Yamanashi’s unique attractions year-round, including breathtaking views of Mt.
