  • I had a relaxing stay.

    It was raining when we arrived, and the nearby parking lots were full, but staff were waiting at the entrance and assisted us. The Onsen had different temperatures in each bath, so we could relax at our own pace. The water quality was also excellent. The meals focused on locally sourced ingredients, and we enjoyed a wide variety of dishes. We had a very relaxing stay.

  • A diverse buffet selection

    Thank you very much.We stayed at this Hotel because it is close to the Blue Pond.The Room was clean, and the buffet offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. We ended up eating too much.After checkout, we visited the Blue Pond, and then went to Shirahige Falls without doing any research—only to find it was right next to the Hotel!We would have liked more information about Shirahige Falls at the front desk or in the lobby. (Maybe we just missed it!)

Both Japanese-style and Western-style options are available, and guests staying overnight may use both on a rotating basis. The renowned Shirogane Onsen is also known as the “Cane-Forgotten Bath”; soaking in its gentle natural hot spring water will help you relax both body and mind. Of course, the large public bath also includes a sauna and a refreshingly cold plunge bath.

  • [Regarding Volcanic Activity at Mt. Tokachi and Our Operating Status]

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Hotel Park Hills.

    On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Tokachidake volcanic alert level was raised to “Level 3 (entry restrictions; caution within approximately 3 km of the crater area).”
    At this time, no damage caused by volcanic smoke or gas has been confirmed in the area around our Hotel, and we are operating as usual.

    The Biei Shirogane Onsen district where our Hotel is located is approximately 7 km from the “62-2 Crater” and is not included in the evacuation target areas on the hazard map.
    Our in-house facilities, Onsen, and nearby sightseeing roads (Blue Pond, Shirahige Falls, etc.) are also available as usual at this time.

    We are working closely with local authorities and disaster prevention agencies to maintain a system that enables us to respond appropriately while continuously monitoring the latest information.
    We will provide updates as needed.
    *You can also check the latest volcanic information on the official Biei Town website and the Sapporo District Meteorological Observatory (Japan Meteorological Agency) website.
