Opened in 2019, this Property offers ocean-view Japanese-Western style rooms and features semi-open-air baths with natural onsen water directly sourced from its own spring. As one of the newest Ryokans in Kyushu, it provides a prime location overlooking Tachibana Bay, allowing guests to enjoy private onsen baths and stunning ocean views. The cuisine highlights seasonal ingredients sourced locally, while the functional and stylish design ensures a comfortable stay for all generations. Each room is 51 square meters in size, equipped with two semi-double beds and a Japanese-style area, and includes both breakfast and dinner.
After finally arriving through heavy rain on this trip, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The meals were served in a calm lounge, and we could really feel the care put into each dish. The Onsen was wonderful, but unfortunately, due to torrential rain severe enough to trigger warnings, the water temperature dropped on the morning of the second day. We were especially disappointed that we couldn’t use the bath in our Room. With expressways closed, sightseeing wasn’t possible at all, so we’d like to come back next time for a retry. The Accommodation is a pleasant, clean Hotel, and all of the staff were very kind.

Although it’s a long-established Ryokan, it has been renovated and is very clean, and the Room and beds were spacious, so we had a comfortable stay. The Room had a private bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water, and along with the large public bath, we could really feel Iseya’s thoughtful intention to let guests enjoy the hot spring water as it is. The meals were Japanese kaiseki featuring mainly seafood made with local ingredients; everything was delicious and we were completely full. We were very satisfied—almost felt sorry for paying this price. Highly recommended Accommodation.
