    Natural Onsen baths and a wide variety of delicious dishes. It feels like a luxury Onsen Hotel from Japan’s Showa bubble era. There are older and newer wings, and from everywhere we enjoyed stunning views of the calm, rolling waves of Mikawa Bay. The lighthouse was charming and atmospheric. The many sets of Mikawa samurai armor and bridal kimono also gave us a sense of the history of Katahara Castle from the Sengoku period. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality.

  • Old but affordable.

    I always stay here on my way back from business trips to Yokohama, as it’s a convenient stopover before heading home. The building is old, but the staff are friendly and the rates are reasonable. The Hotel itself is spacious, and maintenance must be challenging, but it’s one of the Accommodations I hope will continue. I will stay again.

    We regret to inform you that a malfunction has occurred in the sauna Facility within the women’s large public bath on the 3rd floor.
    We are working toward restoration; however, repairs require replacement with custom-ordered parts, and at this time we do not have an estimated arrival date.

    Therefore, we sincerely apologize, but the sauna in the women’s large public bath will be temporarily closed until further notice.
