    From check-in, we had a very positive impression, and the rest of the staff were equally wonderful. The dining staff were all from overseas, but they served us with smiles and great dedication, and it was clear they are well trained. The food was delicately seasoned and served at just the right time to enjoy it at its best, and at breakfast we appreciated the thoughtful touch of having warm tableware. The bath was also spacious and very relaxing. We visited in midsummer this time, so we would love to return in a different season.

    Based on the Reviews saying the food is delicious, we stayed here the night before our hike.Every dish was truly delicious, and with each bite my friend and I kept saying, “So good,” as we enjoyed it with delight.The bath had wonderfully soothing water, and I was able to sleep well. (It seems the little bugs like this water too—they joined us in the bath.)The service was very attentive, and our hearts, bodies, and stomachs were all satisfied—we were completely happy with our stay.

    [Notice: Onsen Restoration]

    Due to the heavy rain disaster on August 8, the Onsen water supply from Nakabusa Valley had been suspended, but it has now been restored.

    We sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience caused to all guests who were looking forward to enjoying our Onsen.
    We also extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who continued to visit Yama no Takohei during this time.

    As a Ryokan, we are once again reminded how fortunate we are to be able to offer Onsen every day.
