Shimoda Juraku Hotel

This was my third stay.It’s always fully booked, so I make my Reservation early.As always, the scallops, turban shells, clams, and hard clams were delicious and plentiful.I ate right up until the end of the time limit, but if I had to ask for one thing, it would be even better with oysters as well.This time I also enjoyed fishing in the sea right in front of the property.I caught a rockfish using a jighead minnow lure.I’d love to come back again next time.

We visited for a birthday trip.Although we arrived early, check-in was smooth, and the guidance to our Room was very courteous.Our Room had a private open-air bath. It was spacious with a great view, and soaking in the bath while looking out at the ocean was amazing.The meal we were looking forward to was the seafood buffet!There was plenty of sashimi, and we were very satisfied with all-you-can-eat turban shells and clams.We were also happy that the all-you-can-drink beer included Shizuoka Beer.Breakfast also had lots of sashimi, so we could enjoy a seafood rice bowl from the morning.It turned into a wonderful birthday trip. We’d love to stay again next year.Thank you very much!
