Although we arrived after 9:00 PM, the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. He also carefully explained how to use the washer and dryer.\n\nSince we were leaving early the next morning, we thought we wouldn’t have time to enjoy breakfast starting at 7:30, but they prepared it a little earlier so we could relax and enjoy it. The breakfast was excellent—especially the grilled salmon, which was fluffy and delicious, more like koji-marinated or Saikyo-style salmon rather than salted salmon. The rice (Tsuyahime) was outstanding as well, and we were very satisfied with local Yamagata specialties such as imoni.\n\nThe Onsen was also wonderful, with two open-air baths and 24-hour access, so we enjoyed it both at night and in the morning. We had it all to ourselves, and the sulfur scent and mineral deposits made it a truly great bath.\n\nThis is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again. The night view from Nishi-Zao Park is also exceptional.

The "Wildflower Path," a popular walking trail at our facility, allows you to enjoy a stroll surrounded by seasonal wildflowers. As you ascend the "Wildflower Path," you can view the Zao Ski Jump (host of the FIS World Cup Ladies) slope and take in the stunning scenery of the Zao mountains. Enjoy a refreshing forest bath while exploring this beautiful trail.
We offer a variety of local specialties and Yamagata's traditional dishes, such as imoni (taro stew) and tamakonnyaku (konjac skewers), as souvenirs. Snacks provided in the guest rooms are also available for purchase here. Souvenir shipping services are available. Business hours: 7:30 AM - 9:00 PM
