It was my first time back in Amakusa in a while, and I was very satisfied with the golf and the Onsen.
I really loved the open-air bath on the rooftop. The view was beautiful and it helped me unwind after the trip.The dinner buffet was delicious, and I ended up enjoying quite a few drinks.The next day, I played at the neighboring Cherry Golf Amakusa Course.It was a wonderful trip.

Great value for money
We added a seafood dish and it was very delicious. Around JPY 28,000 for two people is great value for money. However, it was disappointing that much of the wallpaper in the Hotel corridors was peeling. The bath had a great view and felt very relaxing.

Notice of Renovation Work for the Men’s Open-Air Bath at Amakusa Hotel Kameya
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Amakusa Hotel Kameya.
Following our temporary closure for maintenance through Tuesday, September 29, we will be carrying out additional renovation work on the men’s open-air bath to ensure safety management and restore our Facility due to the impact of the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes, as outlined below.

During the construction period, the men’s open-air bath will be unavailable.
We sincerely apologize for any further inconvenience this may cause to guests who were looking forward to staying with us after reopening, and we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Period: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 – Sunday, October 18, 2026
* Dates may change depending on construction progress.
* The men’s indoor public bath, women’s indoor public bath / women’s open-air bath, and small public bath will remain available as usual.
