Authentic Inn for Stays with Your Beloved Dog - Awara Onsen Tsukika
Fukui Prefecture／AwaraEnjoy an authentic Ryokan stay with your beloved dog and relax in the Onsen.
This Ryokan lets you spend time with your beloved dog at all times—during meals and in your Room—except in the large public bath. We warmly welcome you with “dog-first” hospitality, including a fully air-conditioned indoor dog run spanning 250 tatami mats, an outdoor dog run available anytime during your stay, and semi-private dining areas where you won’t have to worry about others. In 2024, we also introduced Rooms with open-air baths where you can enjoy a relaxing bath time with your dog in the in-room bath.
We stayed as a family of three, and to our delight, we were upgraded to a higher-grade Room than the one we had reserved. It was truly a dog-first Accommodation. Dogs can share existing bedding with you, and you can dine together as well. The dining area has semi-private seating, so we could relax without worrying about other dogs, which was great. The price may be a bit high, but it was the best Accommodation we’ve stayed at with our dog so far (and this time felt like a bargain thanks to the upgrade!). It’s an Accommodation that makes us want to stay again.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 9/12/2026I felt at ease knowing I could go anywhere with my dog. This time I only had breakfast, but it was very delicious and satisfying. Since it was a hot season, I used the air conditioner, but it was noisy, perhaps because the Facility is old. Other than that, my stay was comfortable.

Introduction of the Accommodation
Throughout the property—except for the large public bath—you can stay with your dog. In addition to spending time together in your room, you can dine together at the restaurant and relax in our calm lounge, enjoying your time just as you like.
One of Tsukika’s charms is that you can enjoy meals together with your dog. Our family-friendly restaurant features semi-private seating, with each table separated by partitions to help prevent dogs from getting distracted by other dogs. Both guests and their dogs can dine comfortably and without worry. Our chef’s handmade, made-to-order dishes for dogs are also very popular!
