Rejuvenate your body and mind in our large public baths and open-air baths that feature two rare types of natural hot springs with different qualities found only in few places across The whole country. We also offer heartfelt hospitality through dishes made from the blessings of nature—sea, river, and mountain—found along the Shimanto River basin.
I ordered the Hotel’s recommended “salt-grilled ayu with roe,” and it was so delicious it made me wonder what I had been eating all this time. The Facility is historic and nestled in the mountains, and the Onsen water is colorless, odorless, and clear—leaving my skin soft and smooth while warming me through. It’s an Onsen you’ll want to visit again and soak in again.

As for the meals, the rice is Niida rice with a wonderful aroma, refills are free, and both dinner and breakfast leave you completely satisfied. The menu showed great taste and attention to detail. We stayed in a twin Room, which felt more spacious than expected with no sense of being cramped. I thought it might be a bit far from the Room to the baths, but once I actually walked it, it was no problem at all—after all, I soaked in the Onsen six times. For access, I initially worried because the road seemed narrow. For about 3 km it becomes a single lane, but after driving it there was nothing to worry about. All in all, this is a Hotel I can’t praise enough. I would definitely return—and even just buying a multi-visit pass to come for the baths alone would be well worth it.
