People from all over the world, captivated by the beautiful nature, and those who live on the island, all share a "Churakukuru" spirit. We aim to create a place that feels just like home, where such people can stay comfortably. Featuring an open space with warm wooden tones and a manga corner. Awarded the Good Design Award in 2016 as a handmade Hotel combining traditional Ishigaki materials with both new and old wood. All guest rooms, furniture, and communal spaces are handcrafted. Experience a lodging space that embraces the scent and texture of wood.

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Guesthouse Chura Kukuru Ishigaki Island.
    Starting with stays from Monday, February 1, 2027, an “Accommodation Tax” will be introduced in Okinawa Prefecture and Ishigaki City.
    As the Accommodation Tax is not included in the Accommodation Fee, you may be asked to pay it separately on site.

    Tax rate: 2% of the Accommodation Fee per person per night* (excluding tax)
    *The Accommodation Fee refers to the No Meals Included room rate per person per night excluding meal charges and consumption tax, plus the applicable Service Fee.
