Ajigasawa Onsen Suigun no Yado
Aomori Prefecture/NishitsugaruAn accommodation surrounded by the sea, mountains, and rivers, offering seasonal delights and relaxation.
The property, surrounded by the sea, mountains, and rivers, offers seasonal activities to enjoy. Notably, the onsen known as "fossil seawater," with its high salt concentration, excels in heat retention and moisturizing. Guests can enjoy various baths, such as an open-air bath shaped like a ship and a meditation foot bath with reflexology effects. Additionally, savor fresh seafood cuisine and the local sake "Ando Suigun," while spending tranquil moments in the warm wooden interior.
I made a Reservation not for myself, but for a family trip for my uncle and other relatives. As they are elderly, we had detailed requests regarding Room assignments and meal arrangements, but you responded quickly and courteously to our emails in advance, and we were very satisfied. My uncle said it was a wonderful Ryokan—the food was delicious, the all-you-can-drink alcohol was great, and being able to have a beer after the bath was the best part.I’m sure our large group caused some inconvenience in various ways, but thank you very much.If I have the chance to return home and travel myself, I would love to stay with you as well.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 8/23/2026I hadn’t looked into the Hotel much in advance, but I was amazed—everything is all-you-can-drink? It felt incredibly generous. After arriving, I enjoyed the bath and sauna, then toasted with a beer! Even during meals, everything was all-you-can-drink. Not just beer, but also shochu, sake, wine, and whisky—an impressive selection. The tsukudani at breakfast was so good that I went to buy some at the shop of their sister Hotel. My only complaint was that the sauna bench at the adjacent Hotel was broken and the sauna floor was soaking wet. The bench should be repaired soon, but I’m not sure what caused all that water on the floor—it wasn’t very pleasant, so I’d like to see it improved as soon as possible.Other than that, it was truly a wonderful Accommodation!

"The ancient seawater, known as 'fossil seawater,' has become a precious Onsen. Trapped underground eons ago, this seawater has matured over 300,000 years to become a beneficial hot spring. Onsen containing fossil seawater have high salt concentrations, offering excellent heat retention and moisturizing properties, making it difficult to cool down after bathing, and can be considered a natural thalassotherapy (marine therapy)."

The season of Ajigasawa. Abundant with the blessings of the sea and mountains. We wholeheartedly offer carefully selected dishes that can only be enjoyed during this season, using fresh seasonal ingredients such as vegetables and seafood. Grilled fish primarily features seasonal local fish, all prepared over charcoal. The freshly grilled, piping hot fish is exquisite! Many are surprised by how delicious fresh seafood grilled to perfection can be! Please enjoy.
