The men's bath is light green, and the women's bath is beige, creating a comfortable space with a large tub and high ceilings. Offering rooms ranging from single to twin types, catering to various needs. At the dining area, enjoy creative Japanese cuisine utilizing Shinshu local sake and seasonal ingredients, prepared by skilled chefs.

  • The breakfast was excellent.

    Conveniently located near the station, with plenty of options for dinner nearby, and parking close by as well. The bath was great, with two tubs at different temperatures. What I especially liked was the non-buffet breakfast—it felt like we were treated to delicious local specialties from Shinshu that we don’t often get to try. I’d love to stay again.

  • It’s conveniently located near the station.

    It was old but clean. The cello displayed at the entrance suited the atmosphere nicely. I’d love to stay here again the night before a hike.

Large Public Bath 'Tomo no Yu'

The charm of Matsumoto, a historic castle town, is woven into Tomoe-no-Yu. With an Edo-period alleyway style, stone-paved paths adorned with vibrant noren curtains, and Matsumoto temari tiles crafted underfoot... The changing rooms evoke the romance of the Meiji to Taisho eras. The men's bath features light green interiors, while the women's bath is in beige tones, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Agata no Mori Memorial Hall. The bathing area includes a spacious tub. The ceiling is high and open, while the walls and floor tiles replicate those from our Hotel's predecessor—Tomoe-no-Yu public bathhouse from the Showa era.
