Fukusenka, boasting a natural alkaline simple sulfur Onsen directly sourced from the spring, is gentle on the skin and offers moisturizing and peeling effects. You can enjoy an open-air bath or foot bath while gazing at the flow of the Chikugo River. Additionally, you can take Onsen water home for skincare or cooking purposes. Rooms include Japanese-style Rooms along the Chikugo River, Western-style Rooms, and even pet-friendly Rooms. Wi-Fi and various amenities are fully equipped. Our head chef prepares dishes using seasonal ingredients, and you can also savor fruits from the local Ukiha City. Spend precious moments with your loved ones in a comfortable and relaxing space.
This was our 10th stay or more, and thank you as always for taking such great care of us. The food and the Onsen were excellent.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 8/13/2026We stayed during the Obon holidays with our two Shih Tzus. All the staff were kind and treated our dogs with such care. The Accommodation was well-loved and had some age to it, but there were no inconveniences, and we really appreciated being able to take them all the way to our Room in a pet cart. Above all, the Onsen was wonderfully relaxing—even my father, who usually takes very quick baths, happily said, “The bath here is great—I even went into the open-air bath.” The breakfast buffet was also delicious, and our whole family (three generations) was very satisfied. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

The origin of our Ryokan "Fukusenka" comes from three meanings: "Fuku" symbolizing revival, "Sen" representing equality for all guests, and "Ka" signifying a lasting pleasant fragrance. We strive to create a Ryokan where everyone, including those with babies or pets, can enjoy a comfortable and convenient stay. Ingredients for our meals are locally sourced. Please relax and enjoy a soothing moment in our Onsen, known for its silky smooth waters. Our staff is dedicated to providing a welcoming and enjoyable place of comfort for as many guests as possible.
Dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters are important members of the family. At our Property, we offer dedicated Rooms where you can stay with your pets, as well as Facilities such as a dog run and a pet-exclusive Onsen, perfect for your pet's relaxation. Guests bringing pets are requested to make a Reservation through the pet-friendly Plan. While dinner is usually served in the dining area, we also offer a Room dining Plan. * Basic training, such as toilet training and preventing excessive barking, is required. * Please bring a vaccination certificate (a copy is acceptable). * Please ensure your pet is placed in a cage when you are absent or sleeping. * In the event of any damage or soiling to bedding or other items, repair or cleaning fees may be charged.
We offer complimentary services and daily necessities (stroller rental, baby bedding, baby soap, milk sticks, and diapers) to make traveling with your baby easy and enjoyable for parents. The Onsen is gentle on baby's skin, making Fukusenka the perfect choice for your travel debut!
