| About Hygiene Measures | Following the lifting of the government’s state of emergency declaration on May 25, we will resume accepting Property Reservations starting June 5, 2020, with the addition of new accommodation Plans.
Our Property offers independent cottages surrounded by vast nature, hassle-free BBQs in outdoor spaces, and open-air restaurants, ensuring there are no crowded areas. Regarding the dressing room of the public bath, which is the only potential crowded area, we will avoid congestion by asking guests to answer a survey about their preferred bathing time during check-in. We will continue to enforce thorough handwashing, mask-wearing, the provision of hand sanitizers, disinfection of the premises, and regular ventilation as before.
Our hygiene management standards meet the 10 basic measures set by the Chiba Prefecture Ryokan and Hotel Hygiene Association:
1. Daily temperature checks, health monitoring, and mask-wearing for employees.
2. Frequent gargling, handwashing, or hand sanitization (especially before and after customer service, cleaning, and handling cash).
3. At the front desk, one of the following measures is implemented to prevent droplet transmission during face-to-face interactions: installation of acrylic panels or vinyl curtains, or maintaining a minimum distance of 1 meter while wearing masks.
4. Minimizing contact time and frequency with guests.
5. Identifying frequently touched items and areas and disinfecting them regularly (e.g., returned keys, doorknobs, switches, writing utensils, handrails, etc.).
6. Avoiding enclosed spaces and ventilating as much as possible.
7. Providing disinfectants (alcohol, etc.) throughout the premises and encouraging guests to sanitize their hands.
8. Maintaining social distancing (e.g., marking waiting positions to ensure spacing in potentially crowded areas).
9. Posting notices requesting guests with mild symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or fatigue to report their condition.
10. Properly managing guest records in preparation for any positive cases.
We sincerely look forward to welcoming you with smiles. |
