Kochinda Hotel is a small Hotel with only 12 rooms on a tiny island. At the center of the building, there is a banyan tree patio, surrounded by a corridor with tables and chairs. The guest rooms are designed to blend seamlessly with the island's scenery, featuring single-story wooden structures with tiled roofs. We have used solid wood as much as possible to create a warm and natural atmosphere, and the interior exudes a calming ambiance with the scent of wood. Additionally, we have paid special attention to details such as natural wax, the patio (courtyard), plants, an outdoor lobby, and a view bath. The furniture is handcrafted by a Facility supporting people with disabilities on the island, offering a handmade charm and the warmth of wood.

  • A Hotel with a great atmosphere.

    Check-in is done in front of your Room. (Check-out was done at the front desk of the former Hotel.) I had a Multiple Night Stay, and due to availability I had to change Room types, but the staff moved my luggage for me. The first day’s Room was spacious and new, with a pleasant woody scent, making it very comfortable. The second day’s Room (main building) was a bit smaller, and having the bath and toilet together felt slightly cramped, but I liked being able to see hibiscus from the bedside window. Both the new wing and the main building are simple yet tasteful buildings that blend well with the island scenery. I had breakfast in the dining hall of the former Hotel, which felt nostalgic and reminded me of the Showa era. This is an Accommodation I’d like to visit again.

    A very well-maintained Hotel.As soon as you enter the Room, the soothing scent of hinoki cypress welcomes you, and the natural sunlight feels gentle.
