As society adapts to a new lifestyle of “living with COVID-19” following the spread and partial containment of the novel coronavirus, our Accommodation will continue to thoroughly implement measures to avoid the “Three Cs” (closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings) and prevent infection. To ensure all guests can stay safely and with peace of mind, we may ask for your cooperation in certain situations. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Below is an overview of the “Three Cs” avoidance measures and infection prevention measures at Fuki-dachi Riverside Shimeikan. A. Prevention of droplet transmission ・Staff will wear masks. ・Guests are kindly requested to wear a mask whenever possible, except while dining. ・A partition will be installed on the front desk counter. ・Floor markers will be placed in front of the front desk to prevent crowding while waiting in line. ・Lobby seating will be rearranged to avoid face-to-face seating. ・Access to the smoking room may be restricted. B. Prevention of contact transmission ・For a certain period, we may adjust the number of Rooms available for use. ・When handling cash, we will use a cash tray instead of handing money directly. ・Please have only one representative complete check-in and check-out procedures. ・Except in emergencies, staff will refrain from direct physical contact with guests. ・Sufficient distance will be maintained between seats during meals. ・If adequate spacing between seats cannot be ensured during meals, dining times may be staggered. ・All meals served will be individual portions (not shared). ・Staff will wear disposable gloves when serving meals. ・To avoid crowding in the large public bath, we may ask guests to use it at staggered times. ・In the large public bath changing area and washing area, baskets/chairs may be reduced in number, and regular wipe-down disinfection will be carried out. ・Use of additional facilities/equipment may be restricted. C. Cleaning/disinfection of frequently touched areas/items shared by others ・Loan items do not need to be returned until check-out once provided at check-in (no mid-stay returns). ・Tables and chairs after use will be disinfected with alcohol-based sanitizer. ・Hand sanitizer/disinfectant stations will be installed (entrance, front desk, elevator area, lobby, restaurant, etc.).
