    About a 3-minute walk from the station and along the main road, so it’s easy to find. A pleasantly rural hotel. The staff provide heartfelt service rather than something strictly by the book. It felt like coming back to a relative’s home in the countryside, and it was wonderful. The meal course is on the smaller side, but it was more than enough and tasted great. Also, it was great that we could use the attached Onsen both days—before check-in and after check-out—as long as we brought our own towels! Overall, highly recommended.

  • Corner Room on the 5th Floor

    I wanted to join the morning ritual at Tenkawa Benzaiten, so I left at 6:00 a.m. and couldn’t have breakfast.\nFrom my Room I could see Mt. Miwa, and when I clapped my hands from the Room, the sun rose right then—I was truly moved.\nAt the natural Onsen, I only brought my phone, so I recommend taking a few coins with you.\nEven after going to Tenkawa Shrine, I couldn’t get breakfast there either, so if you plan to do the morning ritual, it’s best to prepare breakfast the day before.
