Surrounded by lush greenery, the property offers a rich natural setting, and you can enjoy magnificent views of the Nikko Mountain Range and Nasu from the observation room. Enjoy Kirakawa Onsen, known as one of Japan’s three best hot springs for beautiful skin, along with meals featuring Tochigi Wagyu and seasonal local ingredients from Tochigi. Choose from Japanese-style Rooms, twin Rooms, Japanese-Western style Rooms, and dog-friendly Rooms where you can stay with your dog—relax and unwind in the Room that suits you best.
This was our first stay with a three-generation family and our dog. There were various pet supplies placed in the Room and at the entrance/exit from outside, which was very helpful. The building felt a bit aged, but it was well cleaned throughout. Dinner was the local kaiseki course with a small upgrade! Everything was delicious, and in particular the Tochigi beef sukiyaki had tender meat—upgrading was absolutely the right choice. The breakfast buffet was also very tasty with a wide variety of options. There were many international staff members, but everyone spoke Japanese very well, and their hardworking attitude left a strong impression. The changing area and large public bath were spacious, so we could relax comfortably. As advertised as “beautifying hot spring water,” it really did leave our skin smooth. It was only one night, but it became a truly enjoyable trip. Staying here was absolutely the right decision. Thank you very much.
